This Virtual CHRO Summit is intended for chief HR officers who have recently started working in their current positions. Whether you’re bringing previous experience to a new institution or this is your first time in the chief HR role, the first year or two on the job bring a unique set of challenges. So much is focused on getting to this leadership position – but what happens after the first few months? Hear from a panel of higher ed CHROs who have made this change and are navigating toward future success. Topics include:
- assessing institutional priorities
- assessing HR talent and capabilities
- creating a strategic plan
- prioritizing years 2 and 3
Following the panel portion of the programming, facilitated breakout groups will provide ample opportunity for further discussion and connections.
The registration deadline is February 3.
Panelists: Sheraine Gilliam, Vice President and Chief HR Officer, Stevens Institute of Technology; Christina Brogdon, Vice President for Human Resources, Michigan State University; James Gallaher, Vice Chancellor, Human Resources, University of Pittsburgh
